Founded in 1915, Assumption Seminary is one of only three diocesan seminaries in Texas and has been forming Catholic priests for more than a century. Located in San Antonio, the seminary serves the Archdiocese of San Antonio and partner dioceses throughout Texas, the Southwest, and beyond.  Assumption Seminary forms seminarians in a vibrant, bilingual, and multicultural community, preparing future priests to provide faithful and effective leadership in an increasingly diverse Church.
